Castril

Castril is a municipality in the province of Granada (Spain). It is located on 911 msnm at the foot of the Sierra de Castril.

The site is characterized by steep streets and houses another nested. From the old Moorish castle, there is only yet to see ruins.

Economy

Castril living from farming, from sheep farming - with a predominant share of the Segura sheep, a local race - and forestry. The main attraction of the place is the location as a starting point for visits to the Natural Park of Sierra de Castril.
