Cătălin Botezatu

Catalin Botezatu ( born December 3, 1966 in Alexandria, Romania) is a Romanian fashion designers.

Catalin Botezatu had passed the entrance examination for the study of nuclear physics, but then wanted to go to theater studies, but this did not pass the entrance exam. He then worked as a model, studied at the Fashion Institute of State and won a modeling competition in Leipzig. After the Romanian Revolution of 1989, he won a scholarship for the International Fashion Institute in Milan, where he met Gianni Versace. An offer to work as a designer at Versace Botezatu struck out, however. He returned to Romania in 1990 and opened the first private fashion house, four years later, his own studio.
