Catherine Gore

Catherine Grace Frances Gore, born Moody (* 1799 in East Retford, Nottinghamshire, † January 29, 1861 in Linwood ) was an English writer. She also edited several French plays and composed some folk songs, including Burns' And ye Shall walk in silk attire.

1823 married Catherine Francis to Captain Arthur Gore.
