Catherine Hessling

Catherine Hessling, born Andrée Madeleine Heuschling, ( born June 22, 1900 in Moronvilliers; † September 28, 1979 in La Celle -Saint - Cloud ) was a French actress.

Life

Catherine Hessling stood as one of the last, Auguste Renoir model and was married from 1920 to 1930 with his son Jean Renoir. With him she had one son. From Renoir's first film Une vie sans joie (1924 ) she took in several of his films until 1928 the main role. Their main actor's performance was the title role of Zola adaptation Nana ( 1926). Hessling also appeared in several films Alberto Cavalcanti in the 1920s.
