Catherine Hicks
Catherine Hicks ( born August 6, 1951 in New York City ) is an American actress.
Life
Hicks was born in New York City, the daughter of Jackie, a homemaker, and Walter Hicks, an electronics salesman. After her theology studies at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana Hicks became an actress. 1996 to 2007, she starred in the television series A heavenly family a major role. In 1988, she met her current partner, the Special Artist Kevin Yagher, on the set of the movie Chucky - The Killer Doll. They were married on 19 May 1990 and have a daughter (* 1992). The family lives in Bel Air
For the synchronization of their films in Germany, among others lent her fellow actress Andrea Aust her voice.
Awards
For her supporting role in Star Trek IV Hicks was in 1987 nominated for a Saturn Award. For her role in Chucky - The Killer Doll, she was awarded the prize in 1990. 1988 Hicks received the Global 500 Award.
Together with her husband Stephen Collins series ( A heavenly family) was nominated Hicks both in 2005 and 2006 for a Teen Choice Award in the category Parental Unit.
