Catherine of Vadstena

Saint Catherine of Sweden, and Catherine of Vadstena (* 1331 or 1332, † March 24, 1381 in Vadstena ), was abbess of the monastery of Vadstena and a daughter of Saint Bridget of Sweden.

At the age of 13 years, Catherine married German noblemen Eggart of Kürnen; but the two vowed to lead a Josef marriage.
