Catherine Oxenberg

Catherine Oxenberg and Catherine van Dien (Serbian Катарина Оксенберг / Katarina Oksenberg, born September 22, 1961 in New York City, New York ) is an American actress, screenwriter and producer. She is the daughter of the U.S. clothing manufacturer Howard Oxenberg (1919-2010) and the Serbian Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia.

Career

Oxenberg is best known for the television series Dynasty, in which she played the role of Amanda Carrington from 1984 to 1986. For this she was awarded a Bambi.

In the cinema she was, inter alia, 1988 can be seen in the Bram Stoker - screen adaptation The Lair of the White Worm by director Ken Russell. She starred in several television productions, so in 2001 in "The Miracle of the Cards " with Thomas Sangster, the film adaptation of the true story about the ten -year-old cancer-stricken Craig Shergold. She also played the role of Princess Diana in two television films. In 2008, she was beside her husband Casper Van Dien in Starship Troopers 3: Marauder seen in a guest role.

Private

On July 12, 1998, she married the film producer Robert Evans, but the marriage was already annulled nine days later. Since 1999 she has been married to actor Casper Van Dien. She has three biological daughters (* 1991, 2001, 2003 ), as well as two stepchildren (* 1993, 1996 ).

In July 2007, Oxenberg received a Serbian passport and now owns next to the U.S. and the Serbian citizenship.
