Catherine Raney-Norman

Catherine Raney - Norman ( born June 20, 1980 in Elm Grove, Wisconsin) is an American speed skater. She specializes in medium and long distances.

Catherine Raney Norman debuted in late November 1997 at the World Cup in Berlin. The first major achievements came five years later with front seats mostly on the 3000 - meter course. In the overall World Cup of the season 2002/ 03 they finished with a fifth place their best ranking in a final settlement.

Four times she was able to win national titles. Over 1500 meters and 3000 meters they ever reached a World Junior record. At the Junior World Championships in 1998 in Roseville Raney Norman won silver behind Aki Tonoike.
