Catherine Scott

Catherine Scott (born Pomales; born August 27, 1973 in Clarendon Parish ) is a former Jamaican hurdler whose special route was the 400-meter distance.

At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 she left in the run, at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, she reached the semi-finals.

In the 4 x 400 - meter relay Scott won several medals with the Jamaican national team. At the 1992 Olympics the Jamaican relay came to fifth place, and in Sydney in 2000 she won Olympic silver.

2001 was followed by a silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon and a gold medal at the World Championships in Edmonton, 2003, a further silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham.
