Catherine Trautmann

Catherine Trautmann ( born January 15, 1951 in Strasbourg; Argence born ) is a French politician and Member of the European Parliament. It belongs to the Group of the Party of European Socialists.

Study

Studying at the faculty of the University of Strasbourg II Evangelical Theological she graduated with a thesis in the field of Coptic religious history, language and literature from a master's degree.

Political action at the national level

Within the Parti Socialiste (PS ) Catherine Trautmann belonged since 1987 to the national council. From 1986 to 1988, she entered the National Assembly for the department of Bas- Rhin.
