Catholic League
Catholic League stands for different alliances:
- Catholic League (1538 ), Alliance of the Holy Roman Empire against the spread of Protestantism in 1538
- Catholic League (France), Association of French Catholic nobles during the Wars of Religion in 1576
- Catholic League (1609 ), merger of the Catholic principalities in the run-up to the Thirty Years War in 1609
- Several initiated by Pope respective mergers, which were directed against enemies of the Roman Catholic Church are sometimes referred to as Catholic League. See Holy League.
