Caution

As a precautionary human capability is called to consider the consequences of an action or an utterance and act accordingly. It is related to the prudence and caution.

In most cases, care is regarded as a virtue, but it can ( like almost all human characteristics ) also have a downside. So tends excessive caution to anxiety, to indecision or vacillation, while lack of caution can lead to carelessness.

Falsely courage is often seen as contrary cautious behavior, however, is linked ideally with prudence.

Erich Fried describes in his poem What is the caution as a limiting element of love, in a row with fear or pride.

Legally reasonable

The legal systems of Central Europe speak - for example, on the subject of malice and fraud - a " reasonable caution ", the criminal law does not grant protection in their absence; those of civil law which remains unaffected. The Swiss BGE 72 formulated this principle with the words " ... who with a minimum of attention himself would protect " or " the error by a minimum of reasonable care could have avoided ."

As acclamation means "caution " warning of a hazard and to increase the attention of the person warned.
