Cavan (unit)

The Caban, also Cavan, was a volume and weight measure for rice, coffee, cocoa and cereal. The measure was in the Spanish possessions in the East Indies (Philippines).

The measure has also been used in trade as a measure of weight. Rice was sold ( about 60 kg per unit ) after Pikul. The Castilian pounds was the Libra to 2 with Marco 9591.9 As ( Holländ. = 0.048 grams) = 460 7/8 grams
