Cayetano Cornet

Cayetano Cornet, Catalan Gaietà Pàmies Cornet ( born August 22, 1963 in Reus ) is a retired Spanish sprinter who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 he reached the quarter-finals. In 1989, he won gold at the Indoor Athletics Championships in The Hague and bronze at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Budapest, and in 1990 he won the bronze medal at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow and was fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Split.

One bronze medal at the World Indoor Championships in 1991 in Seville followed at the World Championships in Tokyo, from the inlet port. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, he came in individual competition in the quarter-finals and was eliminated with the Spanish team in advance of the 4 x 400 meter relay from.
