Cazin

Cazin (Cyrillic Цазин ) ( German outdated Zassin ) is a city and the associated community in the far northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Geography

It is located about 20 km north of Bihac and approximately 15 km from the border with Croatia. The city is located near Bosanska Otoka. Cazin Una -Sana Canton is part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Una river crosses the southern municipality. Geologically, the Opština determined by incised, partially wooded and rocky, partially agriculturally very usable terrain. With 797 m height of the mountain Velika Gomila is the highest elevation in the southeast of Opština which is otherwise at an average altitude of about 300 m.

Population

History
