Club Deportivo Baloncesto Sevilla, also known as the sponsor name Cajasol, is a Spanish basketball club from the Andalusian capital of Seville. Dier first team plays in the Spanish ACB League. The home games are in the 7,626 -seat Palacio Municipal de Deportes San Pablo disputed.
History
The Club Deportivo Baloncesto Sevilla was founded in 1987 and acquired the rights to life of Dribling Madrid to deny the second division. For the 1989/90 season promotion to the ACB league managed from the team of Sevilla has since not descended. Although no title has ever achieved, as the team established especially by mid to late 1990s as one of the strongest in the league. Both the 1995/96 and 1998/99 reached to the final play-off at the Spanish Championship, but failed both times at FC Barcelona. Also in 1998 /99, the team reached the final of the Spanish Cup, where they lost TAU Ceramica with 61:70. International took part in the club Korać Cup 1993/94 and 1994/95. Both the 1996/97 and 1999/2000 launched CDB Seville, as Caja San Fernando, in the Euro League, the highest club competition on the continent. In the 2000 /01 season the team reached the second round in the Saporta Cup, as well as in the round of 16 they failed in the Euro Challenge 2008 /09. The biggest success on the international stage succeeded in the Eurocup 2010/11; after victories in the final round against Budiwelnik Kiev and Benetton Treviso failed CDB Sevilla until the endgame with 77:92 to UNICS Kazan.
