CBS Radio

CBS Radio, formerly Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, is an American media company and by Clear Channel Communications is the second largest owner and operator of radio stations in the United States. CBS Radio owns about 140 radio stations in the United States.

History

Infinity Broadcasting merged in 1997 with the TV network CBS and was, until the end of 2005, as part of CBS, a subsidiary of the media conglomerate Viacom. With the division of Viacom into two companies since January 1, 2006 Radio heard the Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, under the new name to CBS Corporation CBS.
