CD Dénia

The Club Deportivo Dénia is a Spanish football club from Dénia in the Valencian Community. The club was founded in 1927 and plays its home matches at the Camp Nou de Dénia, which offers space for 3,000 spectators.

History

The club was founded in 1927 and spent a long time in the regional leagues in the Valencian Community. In 1980, the club rose for the first time in the Tercera División to where you could conclude his group straight away in third place. Greater success but failed to materialize and continue the CD Dénia always shuttled between the regional leagues and the fourth division. In the 2006/07 season could see the group 4 of the Tercera División win and prevail in the finals of the playoffs against the CD San ​​Fernando de Henares, whereby the promotion to the Segunda División B and the qualification to Copa del Rey 2007/ 08 succeeded. There, the club failed only in the Round of 32 at the first division side FC Sevilla. In the 2009/10 season the team went in fifth one the best result so far in the third division and qualified again for the Copa del Rey 2010/11.

Stadium

The stadium Camp Nou de Dénia was opened in 1995, is located in municipally owned and can accommodate 3,000 spectators. Half of the capacity is partly covered seats. The playing field measures 101 by 65 meters and meets the requirements of FIFA.
