CDAX

The CDAX (short for Composite DAX) was introduced on 17 September 1993 at the Deutsche Börse AG as an additional index to the famous German stock index. While the DAX with only 30 blue chip comprises a small but weighty number of shares, the CDAX Standard and Prime Standard contains all of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in the General listed shares. It is calculated by the German Börse Group and listed as a performance index under the International Securities Identification Number ISIN DE0008469602 and DE0008469800 under a price index. As a starting point for the calculation of December 30, 1987 was chosen and set a value of 1,000 points.
