CDF Player

The CDF Player is an application for reading CDF documents, a document format for interactive documents that can be created with Mathematica. The CDF Player was developed by Wolfram Research, makers of Mathematica and is available free for download.

The CDF Player includes the full runtime library (runtime library) by Mathematica. This allows, in contrast to static document formats such as PDF or predefined dynamic documents, such as Adobe Flash, the document content dynamically depending on the behavior and to generate the user's input and to use all algorithms and visualization methods, which can be written in Mathematica.

The CDF Player supports browser plug- ins for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari, so that content from CDF documents can be integrated into web pages.
