In November 2005, her second book Forever reached perhaps also in first place in Irish and British sales charts; this, however, it held for 10 weeks. In the German bestseller list for 12 weeks, the book was represented.

Since 2007, Ahern is also active in the television business. The mitkonzipierte of her series Samantha Who? with Christina Applegate in the starring role, ran in the U.S. from 2007-2009 on the ABC Network. From autumn 2008, the series was also aired in Germany on ProSieben.
