Cecil Mamiit

Cecil Mamiit Valdeavilla (* June 27, 1976 in Los Angeles, United States ) is a retired Filipino- American tennis player.

Career

Cecil Mamiit began his career in 1996 and won a total of 15 tournaments on the ATP Challenger Tour, including seven in singles and eight in doubles with various partners. In the individual he was also on the World Tour already even reach the final, when he was in San José met in the finals to Mark Philippoussis in 1999. However, that he was defeated, 3:6 and 2:6. In the individual he was defeated in the semifinals of the South Korean Lee Hyung- taik in the doubles competition, he was beaten on the side of Eric Taino in the semifinal of the Indian pairing of Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes.

Between 2006 and 2011, denied Cecil Mamiit total of 20 meetings for the Philippine Davis Cup team. From a total of 29 individual lots, he won 16 in a double he won nine of his 16 games. Cecil Mamiit and Treat Conrad Huey are with five games together gained the most successful double the Philippine Davis Cup history.
