The Cedar Park Center is a multi-purpose arena in Cedar Park, Texas (USA), which is owned by the city of Cedar Park and 6863 spectators at ice hockey matches and up to 8500 spectators at concerts accommodate.
History
The Cedar Park Center near Austin was built as the home stadium for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League after the farm team of the Dallas Stars to Cedar Park was relocated to the season 2009/10. 2010 came with the Austin Toros of the NBA D -League, another tenant is added, with the stadium but also for other events such as Concerts can be used.
Construction of the 55 million U.S. dollars expensive Cedar Park Center was in 2008 and the stadium was opened with a concert by George Strait on 25 September 2009. Owner is the city of Cedar Park and operated it from the company Hicks Sports Marketing from Dallas, or their subcontractors Center Operating Group.
