Life and career

Abba was the second daughter of the Milan merchant Pompeo Abba and his wife Giuseppina Trabucchi, a well-off family in the local bourgeoisie. At the side of her sister Martha, she debuted in 1927 in the " Compagnia Pirandelliana ", which operated under the director Luigi Pirandello. In 1929, she became the second woman in " Za -Bum ", then she played with Renzo Ricci, Irma Gramatica and Luigi Carini. In 1933 she played in Florence under Max Reinhardt, then as first lady at Aristide Baghetti. From 1936 she was then seen in comedies with Antonio Gandusio, then Annibale Ninchi and Guglielmina Dondi. After an engagement at the Compagnia Grandi Spettacoli Forzano and 1940/1941 in the Revue Ultima edizione she let her career, which included work in radio and four supporting roles in films finish.

Both sisters were connected to each other and lived a long time with her mother at the Villa Trovarsi in Fauglia until Marta Abba 1938 married name itself. After that Cele set up in San Remo, where she lived until the 1960s, before she moved back to her native city of Milan.
