Celleno

Celleno is a municipality with 1335 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Viterbo in the Italian region of Lazio.

Geography

Celleno is 95 km north of Rome and 18 km north of Viterbo. It lies between the Lake Bolsena and the valley of the Tiber in a criss-crossed by deep ravines hills.

The municipality consists of the villages Acquaforte and Cava.

The neighboring municipalities are Bagnoregio and Viterbo.

Marco Taschini (PD ) was elected in June 2004 to the mayor and re-elected in 2009. His center-left list, also with 8 of 12 seats, the majority in the City Council.
