Cemile Giousouf

Cemile Giousouf ( born May 5, 1978 in Leverkusen ) is a German politician ( CDU).

Studies and career

Both her parents are from the region of Thrace in Greece and belong to the local Turkish minority. They walked into the Federal Republic during the recruitment of guest workers. Giousouf owns next to the German and Greek citizenship. After high school she studied at the Rheinische Friedrich- Wilhelms-Universität Bonn political science and sociology and Islamic studies. In 2008 Giousouf was hired as a consultant in the Ministry for Intergenerational Affairs, Family, Women and Integration of North Rhine -Westphalia. There she worked in the office of the Women and Equality Ministerial Conference with the focus on " women with a history of migration ." Since 2009 Giousouf works as a consultant in the Ministry of Labour, Integration and Social Affairs of North Rhine -Westphalia in the integration department.

Party

During her studies Giousouf committed for the German - Turkish Forum ( DTF ), a sub-organization of the CDU in North Rhine -Westphalia, to which it belongs since 2004. She was elected in 2008 as deputy chairperson of the DTF North Rhine-Westphalia and represented the forum as chairman in the district of Aachen Association. Giousouf Furthermore belonged to the CDU district and regional association in Aachen and was active as a board member of the Women's Union. Since 2009 she was a member of the district council in Aachen middle and Social Committee of the City

Bundestag candidate
