Census Divisions are available in Canada and in the United States and widely referred to an administrative structure.

In Canada, Census Divisions areas below the level of provinces and territories and above the level of Census Subdivisions.

In the U.S.

The United States is divided by the United States Census Bureau in four Census Regions and Census Divisions nine. In addition, counties are divided into Census Divisions and Minor Civil Divisions County.
