Central African Republic national basketball team

The national basketball team of the Central African Republic to the gentlemen representing the Central African Republic in international basketball games. The selection was the first sub-Saharan team that could qualify for the finals of the African Cup of Nations for a global finals of both the World Cup and the Olympic Games after the tournament victories in 1974 and 1987. Was led Olympic team in 1988, which after all, was able to win two games and finished third last and tenth place of Anicet Lavodrama and Frédéric Goporo, both of whom had studied in the United States at the Houston Baptist University and had been trained as a basketball player.
