Central Alberta
Central Alberta ( also named Alberta 's Heartland ) is a region of the Canadian province of Alberta, with 240 368 inhabitants ( 2004). The dichtbevölkertste region of the province lives primarily from oil and gas production and agriculture.

Geography
The region includes the populous Calgary -Edmonton Corridor and completely surrounds the Edmonton Capital Region.
In addition to the area in west-east direction passing through the North Saskatchewan River also flow through the region following rivers:
