Central and Western District is one of Hong Kong. It consists of the eponymous districts Central and Sai Wan (also called Western).

Central is the banking and administrative district. Western consists of the districts of Kennedy Town, Sai Yin Pun and Sheung Wan. Sheung Wan is the oldest part and origin of the former British colony. Here the British flag was hoisted in the Possession Street for the first time.
