Central Cheetahs
The Central Cheetahs ( engl. the cheetah; referred to in conjunction with the main sponsor and as Vodacom Cheetahs ) are a rugby union team from the South African city of Bloemfontein. She plays in the international Super Rugby League. The home games are played at the Free State Stadium.

History
Before South Africa took over the franchise model from Australia and New Zealand, the teams had in the Currie Cup for the still qualify then Super 12. The Free State Cheetahs achieved this in 1997, the season was concluded with the seventh place.
In April 2005, the South African Association announced that the Central Cheetahs will be the fifth team in the country in the enlarged to 14 teams championship. The first official match they contested on February 10, 2006, when they lost on the opening day of the Super 14 against the Bulls with 18:30. A week later, the first victory came with 27:26 on the Sharks. At the end of the season they remained the 10th Place. In the 2007 season, it was enough for 11th place.
