Central council

Central was the name of several political bodies:

  • The provisional government of the Bavarian Soviet Republic
  • Of the selected on the Imperial Council Congress 1918 body to monitor the Council of People's Representatives, see Central Council of German Socialist Republic

In Germany there are several interest groups, called Central:

  • Central Council of Armenians in Germany
  • Central Council of Ex -Muslims
  • Central Council of Jews in Germany
  • Central Council of Muslims in Germany
  • Central Council of German Sinti and Roma

In Switzerland, there is the Islamic Central Council Switzerland

Central is or was also the designation of bodies in different organizations:

  • Central Council of the FDJ
  • Central Council of the PLO
  • Central to 1939 was the forerunner of the Pontifical Commission for Vatican City State
