Central European Media Enterprises

The Central European Media Enterprises Ltd.. (CME ) is a holding company that provides television and radio stations in six Eastern European countries. The company was founded in 1994 by Ronald Lauder and is headquartered in Bermuda.

The Ukrainian billionaire Ihor Kolomojskyj participated in 2008, three percent of Central European Media Enterprises. Since 2009, Time Warner owns a 31 % stake in Central European Media Enterprises. The fraction for the Time Warner paid $ 241.5 million. 2011 Time Warner stopped its share to 34.4 percent. Thus, Time Warner reached a voting interest of 47 percent. Central European Media Enterprises took its put option to Time Warner on 3 July 2012. Consequently, the share of Time Warner rose to 49.9 percent.
