Central Luzon State University

The Central Luzon State University ( CLSU ) is located in the province of Nueva Ecija in the Philippines. It is regarded as an important educational institution in the administrative region of Central Luzon. The University has four campuses, which cover a total area of approximately 17 km ². The main campus is promoted by the Departmend of Tourism as a landmark on the island of Luzon. The University is considered to be an internationally renowned research institute in the fields of agriculture and forestry. The University is divided into four sites in the following communities:

Faculties

The Central Luzon State University is home to eight different faculties, these are divided into high school and technical college areas, as well as vocational education in colleges and Laboratory high schools. Furthermore, three general education schools are in the organizational system of the university. These are College of Agriculture, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business Administration and Accountancy, College of Education, College of Engineering, College of Fisheries, College of Home Science and Industry, College of Veterinary Science and Medicine. There are approximately 10,000 students taught in the various training programs each semester.

History

The history of the university began on 12 April 1907 as the Central Luzon Agricultural School ( CLAS ) was opened. This was transferred on 31 December 1950 in the Central Luzon Agricultural College ( CLAC ). On June 18, 1964, the College was awarded the title of a university and the Central Luzon State University ( CLSU ) was born. The three Laboratory high schools emerged in 1979 and are subject to the College of Education.
