Central Provident Fund

The Central Provident Fund (CPF ) is a started on July 1, 1955 state social security savings plan from Singapore. The aim of the fund is to hedge the retirement of workers in Singapore.

For pension contributions generally fee of 40 percent shall be paid from the gross income CPF.

In three CPF accounts are kept for each insured:

  • 30 percent will be paid on a "normal" retirement savings account
  • 4 percentage points in a pension fund
  • 6 percentage points are created for the health care.

With increasing age, reduce the contributions to a total of 10%. Payments into the pension fund to pay only up to the age of 55 years.
