Central Washington University

The Central Washington University ( CWU also called ) is a public university in Ellensburg in Washington State. Founded in 1891, studying at the university currently 9,903 students. The University is known primarily for her chimpanzee research center, Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute, as well as the annual Drama Teacher's Summer Institute.

The sports teams of the CWU are the Wildcats. The university is a member of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, the football team is a member of the North Central Conference.
