Central Wings was a Polish charter airline. By October 2008, it was operating as a Polish low-cost airline based in Warsaw and until March 2009 as a charter airline. She was a subsidiary of LOT and operated with Boeing 737-300 and the larger Boeing 737-400. Home base was the Warsaw airport.

History

The airline was founded in December 2004 and started operations in February of 2005. Due to financial problems presented CentralWings the low-cost scheduled flights in mid-September 2008 and focused now more on charter flights. 26 March 2009, LOT has announced the dissolution of the company. The last flight took place on May 31, 2009 and June 9, 2009, the bankruptcy court before Warsaw was reported.

Destinations

Home was the airline in Warsaw. As a low cost airline European goals of Wrocław, Gdańsk, Łódź, Krakow, Katowice and Szczecin were offered. The objectives were, among others, Girona, Lisbon, Rome, Rhodes, Bologna, Dubrovnik, Cork, Faro, Lille, Grenoble, Edinburgh, Dublin and London Gatwick Airport. In Germany 2006 Flights to Cologne, Hanover and Nuremberg were offered, but these were abandoned due to low demand. Between October 2008 and May 2009 we flew charter objectives on behalf of the Polish line of Lotnicze.
