Centreless wheel

The Orbitalrad (or Wireless hub wheel) is one wheel, which is not held as is usually mounted on a hub in the middle, but on Radumkreis ( "Orbit "). In this Radbauform the hub of the wheel is set equal to the axis, and is mounted to the hub within the Radumkreises.

The Orbitalrad was invented by Franco Sbarro, who had built a large number of functioning orbital wheels (including two motorcycles and a car that Sbarro Osmos 1989 ). It was patented in the Globe Holding SA in Geneva.

Tolerances, power transmission and materials have not been fully explored, so this bike has not yet exhausted its full technical potential.
