Century (Band)
Century was a French rock band that was founded in 1985 in Marseille.
The songs of the 1986 debut album ... And Soul it Goes were written by John Milford, John Wesley and Paul Ives. The previously released Lover Why became the biggest hit of the group. The single reached in the summer of 1985, # 1 on the French charts and rose at the end to No. 11 of the Swiss Charts and number 32 finished in early 1986 in Germany. With Jane had the band in 1986 the second and final hit in the home ( No. 35 ). Worldwide Century sold over ten million records. They separated in 1989.
