Cercamon

Cercamon was one of the first troubadours. His poetic activity where they can be dated, falls into the 1137 bis 1149th

He spent most of his time at the court of William X. (Aquitaine ), whose death on April 9, 1137 he dedicated a planh. Maybe he was a mentor of Marcabru. From Cercamon seven seals are obtained, to one that is assigned to him, not sure. There are indications that he died on a crusade, in which he succeeded Louis VII (France).
