Cercle Municipal
The Cercle Municipal ( German: City Palace ) is located on the Place d'Armes in Luxembourg City
The palace is an administrative building with several ballrooms. From 1953 to 1969, was the European Coal and Steel Community ( ECSC) as meeting and conference venue. Today the building is used by the City of Luxembourg for various receptions.
A special feature of the facade is a frieze depicts the surrender of liberty letter to the citizens of the city of Luxembourg in 1244 by the Countess Ermesinde.
