Ceregnano

Ceregnano is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3690 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Rovigo in Veneto. The village is located approximately six kilometers east-southeast of Rovigo in the Polesine. The Canal Bianco, which flows through the town, is a tributary of the Po.

History

Since the Middle Ages the town was repeatedly inundated by the waters of the Po or the Adige.

Traffic

Next to the station in Ceregnano exists in the community nor a breakpoint in the district Lama Polesine (short Lama) on the railway line Rovigo-Chioggia.
