Cerignale

Cerignale is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 152 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the province of Piacenza in Emilia -Romagna. The village is located approximately 50.5 km southwest of Piacenza, belongs to the Comunità Montana appennino Piacentino and directly borders the province of Pavia. The northwestern border is the Trebbia, the northeastern their inflow aveto.

Traffic

Along both rivers run the Strada Statale 45 di Val Trebbia from Genoa to Piacenza and the former State Road 586 della Valle dell'Aveto (now a provincial road ) Corte Brugnatella after Carasco.
