Cerro Batovi

The Cerro Batovi is a mountain in Uruguay.

It is located about 25 kilometers from the capital city of the same name in the department of Tacuarembó. The 224 -meter-high mountain belongs to this range of hills Cuchilla de Haedo.

The name of the mountain comes from the Guaraní language and means breast of the Virgin, which is attributed to its distinctive shape. The Cerro Batovi also appears in the coat of arms of the department of Tacuarembó.
