Certificate of Use of Language in Spanish

The CELU Diploma ( Certificado de Español: Lengua y Uso ) is a language test for Spanish as a foreign language to certify the ability of a non- native speaker of Spanish. It is since 2004, offered by the Consorcio para la Interuniversitario Evaluación del Conocimiento y Uso del Español como Lengua Extranjera, one of Argentina's 19 universities existing consortium.

Requirements

The CELU may be filed only by those who do not speak Spanish as their native language. Candidates must be older than 16 years, and at least three years of secondary school (Gymnasium, Realschule, or Argentine ETUC) have been completed. The certificate allows access to the language study at a university and qualified for places where good Spanish skills are required.

Levels

There are two power levels Intermediate and Advanced. Both weisenin varying degrees according to the candidate's ability to be able to communicate in everyday, professional or academic situations in Spanish. The exercise instructions and the texts are presented in the exam, can by all speakers of Spanish language variations ( dialects ), to be understood.

Dates and Locations

The exam takes place twice a year in June and in November. Testing locations are available in Argentina, Brazil, Germany and France.
