Cervaro
Cervaro is a city in the province of Frosinone in the Italian region Lazio, 7829 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 138 km southeast of Rome and about 60 km southeast of Frosinone.
Geography
Cervaro lies in the plane of Cassino below the Monte Corno. It is a member of the Comunità Montana Valle del Liri.
The districts are: Isola Tocca, paste Nelle and Santa Lucia
The nearby towns are Cassino, San Vittore del Lazio, Sant'Elia Fiumerapido, Vallerotonda and Viticuso.
History
In the 8th century abbot of Montecassino monastery founded Petronace Castrum Cerbari.
