Cesanese Comune

Cesanese Comune is an indigenous red grape variety in the Lazio region of Italy. It is part of the family of Cesanese vines. Their cultivation is recommended in the provinces of Frosinone, Rieti, Rome, Latina and Terni. Admitted she is also in the province of Salerno in Campania. In 1999, an area under vines of 985 hectares has been charged.

The late maturing variety produces ruby red wine that should be drunk young. You will find the entrance to the DOCG - Wine Cesanese del Piglio and in the DOC - Wines Castelli Romani, Cerveteri, Cesanese di Affile, Cesanese di Olevano Romano, Cori, Rosso Orvietano and Tarquinia.
