César Pedroso

César " Pupy " Pedroso (* September 24, 1946 in Vedado / Havana ) is a Cuban pianist.

Pedroso first became known with the Orquesta Revé. Since 1969, he played famous as a pianist and then as a founding member of the group Los Van Van. For this he also wrote important pieces like "Call Calla", " Tranquilo, Mota ", " Seis Semanas " or " buena gente El ", but also wrote for other musicians in Cuba. In 1995 he released his first solo CD " Lo mejor / Fruta prohibida " under his name, the second was published in 1999 already under pupy y Los Que Son Son After his departure from Los Van Van followed since 2001, several CD releases with his own firm band pupy y Los que Son, Son, with whom he has since released four albums.
