César Salazar (cyclist)

César Salazar Herrera ( born February 14, 1972) is a former Colombian cyclist.

César Salazar was in 1997 for the first time a stage win at the Vuelta al Táchira and so could the Appreciation decide for themselves. In the years 1998, 2000 and 2001, he won one stage there again. In 2003, he won two stages and at the Vuelta a Guatemala, he was first overall. In 2004 and 2005 he won two and in 2006 a section at the Vuelta al Táchira. In 2006, he was also successful twice the Clasico Ciclistico Banfoandes. In the 2007 season he won the Vuelta al Táchira in two stages and the team time trial at the Vuelta a Venezuela and he was first overall.
