Cessna Citation Latitude

The Citation Latitude is one of the US- American manufacturer Cessna project for a new mid-size business jet, which should join in size between the Cessna Citation XLS and Citation Sovereign. The first flight is scheduled for 2014, registration for 2015.

Development

With a cabin width of 1.95 m at a cabin height of 1.83 m, the Citation Latitude to be the widest in the Cessna Citation Jet series can accommodate up to eight passengers.

Air, light, privacy and sound systems should be possible to regulate by touch screen at each passenger seat. Individual user interfaces are, optionally via WiFi, enable data communication with the own smartphone, tablet PC or laptop. These data compatibility to save special devices such as CD, DVD player and flat screen. The prototype will be equipped with G5000 avionics from Garmin.

Engines

The two engines PW306D by Pratt & Whitney Canada will be equipped with a fully digital engine control ( FADEC). These are twin- spool engines with four axial and a radial compressor.

Pre-orders

The EFO Aviation of Darmstadt, who wants to leave the aircraft by Air Hamburg operate, pre-orders has made. The company NetJets has ordered 25 machines and issued an option for another 125.
